November 2008

Annual SA Thanksgiving Dinner / Fireside (SA 30-up)(fast Sunday):

  • Date & Time: November 2nd @ Potluck at 6:00pm. Fireside at 7:00pm
  • Place: The Stake Center (2550 Thornton Rd., Ferndale, WA 98248)
  • Hosted by: Stake
  • You are welcome to bring your favorite veggie dish or desert to share.
  • Turkey, Ham, Potatoes, rolls, cranberries, olives, etc… will be provided.
  • Children are welcome to have dinner with us.
  • There will be no childcare.

Single Adult Lunch Bunch (SA 30-up) (first Thursday):

  • Date & Time: November 6th @ 11:30 am
  • Place: We decide on the new place to eat the month before.  Check back for update.
  • Cost is about $7.00-up.
  • RSVP with Virginia or e-mail Ellen and Ellen will let Virginia know.

Single Adult Scripture Study (SA 30-up) (each Thursday):

  • Date & Time: November 6, 13, & 20 @ 6:30pm to 8:00pm
  • Place: The NW building in the RS room (5800 Northwest Rd, Ferndale, WA 98248)
  • Studying: “Isiaha”
  • Teacher: Bishop David Walker

Single Adult Game Night (SA 30-up) (first Friday):

  • Date & Time: November 7th @ 8:00pm

  • Place: The James St. building (2925 James St, Bellingham, WA 98226).

  • You are welcome to bring food to share, if you would like.

  • Have any questions; Kristina or e-mail Ellen and Ellen will let Kristina know.

Single Adult Planning Meeting (SA 30-up) (second Tuesday):

  • We will not be having SA Planning Meetings for November or December.
  • We are going to take some time off to spend with family and friends.
  • The next SA Planning Meeting will be January 13th, 2009.
  • If you have anything you need to talk about before then please call or e-mail one of the reps or Stake SA Co-Coordinators. Thank you

1st Presidency Christmas Devotional (SA 30-up) (fast Sunday):

  • Date & Time: December 7th @ 5:00pm.
  • Place: The Stake Center (2550 Thornton Rd., Ferndale, WA 98248)
  • Hosted by: Stake
  • The 1st Presidency Christmas Devotional will be shown at the Stake Center.

  • After the Christmas Devotional the Single Adults will meet in the Relief Society room to have Cheesecake.

  • We will also have an Ornament Exchange. Each person that would like to be part of the Ornament Exchange needs to please bring an ornament to exchange.

  • Single Adult’s children are welcome to be a part of the event.

January 2009

Single Adult Temple Prep. Classes (SA 30-up) :

  • Date & Time: The Temple Prep Classes are done for now. We are planning to have new classes starting in the New Year "2009". If you would like to be part of this classes please start to talk with your Bishop or Branch President. Have any questions please talk to your Ward Rep.
  • Place: The James St. building in the RS room (2925 James St, Bellingham, WA 98225)
  • Single Adults have to be recommended by their Bishop.
  • If you have your Temple Recommend and would like to support other Single Adults please call one of the Teachers.
  • Teachers: Dave & Kay Kimbler, Bishop David & Bonnie Walker, and Owen & Janet Walker

Single Adult Planning Meeting (SA 30-up) (second Tuesday):

  • Date & Time: January 13th @ 7:00pm

  • Place: The Stake Center in the HC room (2550 Thornton Rd., Ferndale, WA 98248).

  • All Ward Reps. Should attend and all Single Adults are invited.

  • We go over the SA Calendar for the next 2 months and trying to come up with new things to do to make the program better!

  • Please came help us make it better for you!!!!

FYI's 2008

Single Adult Temple Trip (SA 30-up)(fourth Saturday):

  • Date & Time: Please check the ldssinglesinseattle.com/  Website to see when the next Single Adult Temple Trip is.
  • Place: The Bellevue Temple
  • Would you like to share the experience of attending the temple with others that are single in the Seattle/Bellevue/Everett area?

  • They usually meet up 15 minutes beforehand in the back left corner of the temple chapel, so that it's easy to find each other.

  • Then they sometimes get together for dinner.  Cost about $15-up.

  • Dinner afterward at __________________________________, at 8:30 PM
